Blog

Our website was launched on August 15, 2025. One bonus of having a lab website is that I finally have a space that I can use as a blog. This is the place that I post revision history of my books, bits and pieces behind the scenes, and interesting stories (at least to me). Lab news and announcement will be provided via LinkedIn and Twitter. So, this section is purely An's corner.

An interesting and lighthearted interview that I got

Wednesday, August 20, 2025
PharmD class of 2027 runs a monthly newsletter which circulates among their class members. This is creative and a great way to stay united. One component of this newsletter is faculty interviews. Last spring (in Feb 2024), they interviewed me and included the content in their March newsletter. I like those fun and lighthearted questions and would like to share some of them in this post.

Essentials in Clinical Pharmacokinetics - Book Highlights

Thursday, August 7, 2025
I strongly believe that when people learn it in the right way, everyone can be good at pharmacokinetics. I have been teaching a PharmD course “Pharmacokinetics and Dose Optimization” every spring semester since 2016. After I taught this course several rounds, I developed a strong desire to write a single author pharmacokinetics (PK) textbook. I started to write this book in late January 2024. Many late nights. Many weekends. This book was brought to life in May 2024. Read more here...
