(An, 8/7/2026) Two days ago I received a kind and thoughtful email from a reader of my basic PK book (“Essentials in Clinical Pharmacokinetics”), who recently joined FDA as an ORISE Fellow. He said that he wanted to reach out because “your book played a real role in getting me here. It brought me up to speed on PK/PD concepts faster than anything else I'd read”. Read More here...

Today I walked to downtown Iowa city at around noon to get some buffalo wings from the Buffalo Wild Wings (my favorite place) at the university capital mall. I ordered 20 wings, and the lady asked me if I am a faculty. I showed my IowaOne card and said yes. She said she does not know the details, but today is a faculty appreciation day(or teacher's day or something? I didn't hear clearly), so the charge of $27.49 + tax is waived.
