(An, 8/7/2026) Two days ago I received a kind and thoughtful email from a reader of my basic PK book (“Essentials in Clinical Pharmacokinetics”), who recently joined FDA as an ORISE Fellow. He said that he wanted to reach out because “your book played a real role in getting me here. It brought me up to speed on PK/PD concepts faster than anything else I'd read”.
His name is Harman Thind. He asked if he could mention me and my book in his linkedin post. Of course I am ok with it 😊 . Here is what he posted yesterday on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7491202169195352064/
When I wrote this book, I wrote fast and I stayed very focused. Many late nights; many weekends. Basically I was running a mental marathon, and I felt very exhausted in the end. I am really glad to see that it has played a positive role in someone's career development.
